American Red Cross used my song “Voyage” for this piece on giving blood. Very fitting in lieu of the recent anniversary of D-Day.

Voyage

Another piece written for a show, I wanted to get across a sense of mystery and nostalgia. I wrote for cello and played ukulele on this.

The Polish graphic designer, Michal Karcz, gave me permission to use this image with the music.

The Beacon

Another orchestral piece with french horn and strings. The director wanted these swells of emotion hitting twice in the piece. It’s interesting pairing the flute with french horn for that triumphant feel, but with a sense of the ethereal.

The Polish graphic designer, Michal Karcz, gave me permission to use this image with the music.

Where the Light Comes From

An orchestral piece for a show I’m working on about Billy Graham’s life. Arranged for french horn and strings on this one.

The Polish graphic designer,Michal Karcz, gave me permission to use this image with the music.

I worked with Digital Kitchen on this custom music for their Hyatt ad. I experimented with psycho-acoustic effects to give the feeling of being in an environment, an experience.

On the eve of being dismantled, in the midst of a snowstorm, a Frank Lloyd Wright house of rare quality is captured in its original location for the last time.

The 1954 Bachman Wilson House, increasingly threatened by an adjacent river and the changing climate, will be trucked piece by piece from Millstone, NJ, to its new home, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, in Bentonville, AR.

Ridmark 8

This piece was for a show, they wanted something with a Sci-Fi vibe. I pulled out some of my old Moog software and started programming some drone sounds.

The Polish graphic designer, Michal Karcz, gave me permission to use this image with the music.

The Search

Composed this piece for a show, wrote for cello and clarinet. The segment is about a man reflecting back on his life.

I scored this short film, Finalist in the Doorpost Film Project. I wrote a quartet for strings.

A photo I took on a recent trip to Nicaragua. This city has a strange beauty to it, a little rough around the edges.

Dawn of Time

This was an original composition (I ended up tweaking it for a Park Hyatt ad), I wanted to write a piece of music that captured the feeling of the Earth when it was formless and void. The sense of space, air and element. The ambience.

To do this I experimented with reversing recordings of instruments.
